Verizon
One of the most (only) useful (vengeful) aspects of blogging is the cranky letter to the editor. Well, I'm here to bitch about Verizon, and utility companies in general. How can you give someone an all day window for a service call, weeks in advance, and miss it? I can understand this happening once in a while, but this happens basically every time we schedule something. God I miss the cold war. I miss when the US, and west in general, were the people who got stuff done. I miss when we mocked service like this. Now it's the norm. Pyrrhic Victory.
